We also have a lot of fun at Carey Hall! In 2018 we celebrated our 40th birthday with a big party. We regularly participate in Macmillan coffee mornings and enjoy having our families come together on lots of occasions. We also have regular visits from a dentist to talk to the children about the importance of brushing their teeth.

During the summer we have an annual trip. These have included a Southend beach day and Paradise Wildlife Park! It’s a huge amount of excitement and fun for the children to come together outside of preschool and have a special experience with their peers. For our parent’s it’s an opportunity to see how much progress the children have made building bonds, but also a wonderful moment to pause and enjoy their childhood.

At Christmas, celebrations have included visits to the Chicken Shed, Millfield, and the Dugdale Theatres. Our children host a nativity and on our last day we have a party with a magician and a special visit from Father Christmas.

We believe that fun is key to memorable learning, so we aim to celebrate all cultures and religious festivals throughout the year.
