We understand the importance of a secure attachment for children. Coming to preschool for the first time can be a nervous time for children and caregivers.

At Carey Hall we do not believe in a ‘one size fits all’ model and settle the children according to their specific needs. We start with a series of ‘stay and play’ sessions for all the children, alongside their adults, to familiarise themselves with the setting. However, for those needing additional support, these can be broken up into smaller sittings. This reduces the anxiety for the child and provides increased exposure for the family to bond with the team and other children.

n.b. Due to COVID-19, we are unable to have caregivers in our bubble. Our stay and play sessions will resume when allowed. In the meantime, if you wish to talk about how children are settled in during this time please contact us.

Our doors are open by appointment only due to COVID-19 regulations but we welcome you before or after our daily sessions (9am-3pm) with pleasure.
